Responsibilities:
- Order Processing:
- Assist in processing and managing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to confirm order details.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records.
- Shipping and Receiving:
- Coordinate shipments, including preparing shipping documents and labels.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and update inventory accordingly.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to shipments, orders, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and other relevant documentation requirements.
- Communication:
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Keep all stakeholders informed about the status of orders and shipments.
- Problem Resolution:
- Identify and resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
- Proactively communicate any potential delays or challenges to the relevant parties.
- Adherence to Safety Standards:
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar logistics or supply chain role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using logistics and inventory management software.
- Familiarity with customs regulations and documentation processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
